Lift Heavy For Small Muscles

Lift Heavy For Small Muscles

The atmosphere at my gym is growing grim, as all the heavy lifters are beginning to notice something.

All their different workouts, many dumbbells, one dumbbell, phone, no phone, sit, lean, stand.

All produce the same size muscle, and the muscle never grows beyond that initial same size - whoopsie.

I believe that what you see at the gym, is the default size of human muscle.

This is the, I am not sitting on the couch build.

The occasional, larger person, that is quite likely a person recovered from obesity.

And of course, also a clue, on how muscles are built.

The one other builder is the jogger, but they only use their legs.

And when they do run through their exercise, they want to run faster, not heavier.

So they go their own way, because big muscle is a unique look.

Though I must say, that you don't want to get old without muscle.

That just makes you broken and frail, at some age, aesthetic goes out the window.

I am not joking when I say, you have to become muscular in your old age.

But, jogger build their legs, and initially build up their endurance.

And the fat people, keep adding weight to their fat based weight-vest.

I think this stands as very clear, overlapping and trustworthy evidence of bodybuilding.

Put the two together, and you have the blueprint.

So the reason the heavy lifters, are not building muscle.

Is because, they actually cancel muscle building.

They only stretch their muscle, and while cutting off their circulation.

Stretching is just stretching, cutting off circulation is just unwise.

The joggers legs tell us how muscles grow, non stop hour or two.

But to get there, they first defeat lack of endurance.

They slowly eliminate their rest gaps, joggers have a powerful wisdom.

Until I can run straight through, it is only training.

And then the fat people come in, they lift ever heavier.

They keep putting on weight, and their muscles continue to adapt.

Those who get mad and stop overeating, and burn up their fat.

Are the big muscles, and for them lifting heavy is maintenance.

They slow down, though probably not stop, their muscle atrophy by doing something.

And that lifting something, more aptly named doing it wrong.

Is both enough to slow muscle loss, and grow that standard muscle set of the average gym goer.

This not an optimized process, not for growing muscle at a proper pace.

We have established that we start with jogger, and continue with a weight vest that simulates fat.

But to optimize the non stop hour or two, you should swap weight vest for dumbbells.

Now the heaviness of your umbels, unlike a vest, will travel through your arms and shoulders.

And to optimize that, you must dance.

Do you see it? You build up endurance, and dance with heavier and heavier dumbbells a you adapt.

Adaptation will grow muscle, because that is how our body reacts to a prolonged challenge.

Dancing, or moving to beats of music, one beat up, next beat down.

Has a second bonus, as it puts you in a dance trance.

I should digress here, and note, that if you are suffering obesity.

You should start by hiking, and there you don't listen to music but adventure books.

Walking will burn your fat, but switching lifestyle resets your eating habits.

You don't overeat in the woods, and you snack on hot-dogs and salads.

So in closing, once more.

The reason gym goes plateau, at the same sized muscle.

Is because, they lift their maximum heavy.

Which shuts them down, all at the same time.

It is like our jogger, attempting to jog with a heavy backpack.

They just can't go for long enough, they get cut off, kind of like circulation.

Morbid obesity does not grow muscle either, person barely moves as they are fat too overweight.

And to grow muscle, you have to stay under muscle failure.

You have to keep going, as you earn your endurance, uninterrupted.

Whoever spread the rumor, that big weight is big muscle...

And that cutting circulation off, is muscle failure and grows more muscle tissue.

Was just pretending to know, what they were talking about.

Big weight equals big muscle, it is an easy lie to sell.

But like I said, we need muscle as we grow older.

So this simple lie, is a lot worse than it seems.
